A young Methodist congregation acquired its first property in 1818 for a new church in the town that became known as "Beth Page". According to legend, the church's leader Nathaniel Parker named the settlement in memory of his deceased wife, Elizabeth "Beth" Page, and the town grew around the church. The congregation was housed in three other buildings prior to the current site built in 1945. Renovations began in 2007 and were completed in 2008, and today the chapel has a fresh new look that is perfect for both the modern or traditional bride.
